The LORAC PRO Contour Palette

What is Contouring and Highlighting?

Contouring minimizes and brings in your features to appear smaller, thinner and perfectly sculpted.

Highlighting accentuates and brings out the high points of the face while it lightens, brightens and gives you a radiant glow.

Under Eyes

Use the flat side of the PRO Contour Brush to apply BEIGE HIGHLIGHT or YELLOW HIGHLIGHT underneath the eyes. Creating a triangle shape, start at the inner corner under lower lashes, bring it down onto the face near the nose and then diagonally up towards the templates.

PRO Tip: Mix BEIGE HIGHLIGHT and YELLOW HIGHLIGHT to find your perfect custom shade.

Cheekbones

Use the domed top of the PRO Contour Brush to apply LIGHT CONTOUR, MEDIUM CONTOUR, or DEEP CONTOUR to the hollow of the cheek. The hollow of the cheek is under the cheekbone (suck in your cheeks to find the hollows). To create sculpted cheekbones, apply a PRO CONTOUR shade in a line following the hollow of the cheek, starting from the ear and stopping in alignment with the center of the eye. Use the flat side of the brush to soften and blend.

PRO Tip: Use a lighter CONTOUR shade for a natural look and a darker CONTOUR shade when going dramatic.

Use the flat side of the PRO Contour Brush to apply SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT to the cheekbones for a luminous glow. Sweep along the cheekbone from the apple of the cheek towards the top of the ear.

PRO Tip: Avoid the under eye area and the hollow of the cheek when applying SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT.

Nose

Use the domed top of the PRO Contour Brush to apply a PRO CONTOUR shade to the sides of the bridge and tip of the nose. To thin and sculpt the nose, apply a PRO CONTOUR shade in a line along the sides of the bridge, starting at the eyebrow and inner eye area down to the nose tip. To shorten and create a perfect shape, shade around and under the tip of the nose. Blend well.

Apply BEIGE HIGHLIGHT down the bridge of the nose to perfect the contour line. PRO Tip: Add SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT down the bridge to accentuate the high point of the nose.

Forehead

Use the flat side of the PRO Contour Brush to apply a PRO CONTOUR shade around the hairline to minimize the forehead. Apply to the temples to slim down the face. Blend well into hairline.

Apply BEIGE HIGHLIGHT with the flat side of the PRO Contour Brush to the middle of the forehead and between the brows to brighten the face. If you have a narrow forehead, apply BEIGE HIGHLIGHT to the temples to widen.

PRO Tip: Apply SHIMMER HIGHLIGHT lightly above brow area to enhance and lift the brows.

Jawline

Use the domed top of the PRO Contour Brush to apply a PRO CONTOUR shade along the jawline. For a chiseled effect, start at the back of the jaw near the bottom of the ear, sweeping along the entire jawline. Blend well.

To minimize a wide jaw, apply a PRO CONTOUR shade below the hollow of the cheek to the jawline, starting from the bottom of the ear and stopping in alignment with the center of the eye. To widen a narrow jawline, use BEIGE HIGHLIGHT below the hollow of the cheek to the jawline, then apply a PRO CONTOUR shade under the jawline and slightly onto the neck to accentuate the jaw. Blend well.

PRO Tip: To minimize the appearance of a double chin, apply a PRO CONTOUR shade under the chin and blend slightly onto the neck. To shorten a long face, add contour to the tip of the chin.
