Beautiful Bride Makeup... That LASTS!

Beautiful Bride Makeup... That LASTS!

Love is in the air… it must be wedding season! Every bride wants to look her best on her wedding day, and most importantly, her makeup needs to last from the alter to her farewell wave from a windshield that reads “just-married.” I developed LORAC Cosmetics to withstand the challenges of my celebrity clientele on the Red Carpet, and they are wonderful for your wedding day, too.

For long-lasting makeup application, always start with a makeup primer like LORAC’s aquaPRIMETM Oil-Free Makeup Primer. Not only will this help your makeup last through all the hugs, but it is also like a big drink of water for your skin, so you look youthful and radiant.  To really look like a glowing bride, try LORAC’s Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder. I dust this on my clients cheekbones, and sometimes mix it with a bronzer like LORAC’s TANtalizer Baked Bronzer for bronze, glowing skin.

Of course, no one’s eyes stay dry at a wedding, so how do you add definition that lasts through the tears of joy? First, I always start with Behind The Scenes Eye Primer to lock in rich color and smooth the lid. This unique eye shadow primer easily glides on for crease-resistant, silky-smooth color that lasts. Use this primer with a Starry-Eyed Baked Eye Shadow Trio for the richest, long-lasting coordinating colors. To line eyes try LORAC’s Front Of The Line PRO Water-Resistant Liquid Eyeliner, or LORAC’s 3-In-1 Waterproof Eyeliner Pencils. Finish with your favorite mascara.

To make sure lipstick lasts through the toasts and congratulatory kisses, I suggest using a long-lasting lipstick like LORAC Co-Stars 8 Hour Long-Wearing Lip Color & Glossy Top Coat. (These are also on-sale, scoop them while you can!) First, using the attached applicator, apply the Long-Wearing Lip Color, let it dry a minute or two without rubbing lips together, then apply the Glossy Top Coat. Co-Stars are a gloss and long-wearing color all in one!

It’s also a good idea to keep back-up items in your purse. Touch-up powder is a MUST! I like LORAC’s Oil-Free Wet/Dry Powder for it’s stay-put coverage and easy-to-use compact with both a mirror and a sponge for touch-ups on the go. It’s also a good idea to keep some q-tips and your lip color in your purse, too.

I hope these tips help all the brides-to-be look radiant on their special day!
